Healthy Petaluma supports local organizations advancing health, equity, and well-being across our community through grantmaking programs. To best stay up to date with Healthy Petaluma’s Grantmaking Programs and other funding opportunities, please subscribe to our newsletter. 

  • General Operating Support grants
    FY 2026–27 General Operating Support grant program applications will open near the start of our fiscal year in July 2026 with funds anticipated to be distributed in November 2026. In June of 2026, the Healthy Petaluma Board approved $700,000 for this program for the FY 2026-27 period. All funds will be expended in a single grantmaking cycle in the Fall of 2026. Funding requests may range from $10,000 to $30,000.   • Healthy Petaluma Sponsorships
    Healthy Petaluma offers Sponsorship support for community events, programs, and initiatives that align with our mission and contribute to community health and connection. Sponsorship requests are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. In June of 2026, the Healthy Petaluma Board approved $100,000 for this program for the FY 2026-27 period.   • Together for Women and Families Fund Grant Program
    The Together for Women and Families Fund, created in response to the Women’s Health Needs Assessment (WHNA) conducted in 2025, supports programs that strengthen the health, stability, and well-being of women, girls, and families in the Petaluma community that are in strong alignment with the strategic priorities identified in the WHNA. Applicants submitted letters of intent in March 2026. Select organizations were invited to proceed to Stage Two applications. Final funding decisions will be made in the month of November 2026. You can learn more about the Together for Women and Families Fund here.

General Operating Support FY 2025 - 2026 Grant Program

In March of 2025, Healthy Petaluma announced a two cycle General Operating Support grantmaking program. The General Operating Support Grant Program supports the overall health, sustainability, and capacity of nonprofits and organizations with an equivalent tax-exempt status serving the Healthy Petaluma community.

Healthy Petaluma is proud to share that we awarded $700,000 in funding to 50 organizations serving southern Sonoma County in the two funding cycles.
